This section contains definitions and examples to help you understand rights management metadata.

IP Documents | A copy of the contract or an Intellectual Property Rights Assessment (IPRA; or a legal assessment of copyright use). | |

Reporting Statement | A reporting statement (RS) is an accepted guideline associated with an IP code, such as screen shots or graphics used in a product. For a list of reporting statements and their definitions and guidelines, see Reporting Statements. | RS-FTE |
Restriction | A restriction usually indicates that an asset may only be used for a specific purpose or for a limited time. For any restrictions, the department must contact Devin Larry Smith. He forwards the requests to Mike Card in Correlation to approve. Rights Status |
The status of a rights management item. The status varies depending on whether it is a contract, reporting statement, submission (deliverable) or VIO certification.
