This section contains definitions and examples to help you understand project metadata.

Field Description Example
Billing Number The Workfront number assigned to a billing project, usually used for large productions with several projects under it. The billing project number in Workfront is located on the Project Details tab, Custom Forms sub-tab, Project Information section and labeled "Project to be billed." 635978
Contributors This is supplied by Nuxeo and usually lists anyone who worked on an item. Because the information is imported from Workfront, it will show "system." system

Created in Nuxeo The date an item was added to Nuxeo. July 15, 2020
Description The project description. In Workfront, the description is located on the Project Details tab.  
External Identifier This lists a Workfront ID and reference number with a link to the Workfront project. Right-click and select "Open link in new tab," sign in, and the Workfront project will appear.  
Job ID The project (PRJ) or task reference number from Workfront. 3256698
Job Owner The project owner or manager, or for a task, the person assigned to a task. Bob Jones
Job Type
  • Billing Project: A high-level project used to group expenses for smaller related projects, usually deliverable projects or job tickets.
  • Deliverable Project: A project that has a specific deliverable and a fixed bid.
  • Job Ticket: A Production House project with a fixed bid.
  • Project: Any standard project in Workfront.
  • Shoot: A Workfront task reference number, usually used to identify photography, film, or video camera shoots.
  • Standard fixed bid: A project with an upfront agreed upon budget based on participants' bids on costs or time, etc.
  • Standard time and material: A project with a bucket of budget money used to pay for a person's time or materials used for a specific business purpose (no upfront bids).

Product The product or PD number for a deliverable item. PD600005132
Program Name The name for a program, for which projects are created. Church Newsroom, Small Requests
Project Owner The person who created or manages a project. Bob Jones
Project Owner Email The email address for the project owner.  
Project Relationship The parent or billing project for a project, or the project for a task. Click the blue name of the project to view the details for the parent project.  
Related Jobs This lists either the related parent or billing project or sub-projects or tasks for a project. The total number of projects listed is shown next to the "Related Jobs" label.  
Status (project) The Workfront status for a project. Approved, Asset Delivered, Canceled, Complete, Current, Dead, Idea, On Hold, Planning, Pre-Close, Rejected, Requested
Status (task) A Workfront status for a task. Awaiting Feedback, Complete, In Progress, New, Rework/Canceled
Status (Nuxeo) The Nuxeo status for this item. Active
Title The name of a project (click the blue name to view the details for a related job).  
Version The version of this item in Nuxeo. This is updated by the system. 1, 2
Workfront Type Select either project or task. PROJ, TASK
