Using Archival Search

Archival search was built to allow you to check the progress of archive and restore for items in Nuxeo. For an archive operation, it will show how many items were archived successfully, if any errors occurred, and so forth.

Even though archival search was built for archive process purposes, you can use it to search for items regardless of archive status.

To use archival search:

  1. Click Archival Search in the left navigation. The search pane opens with a number of fields to refine your search.

  2. The following fields are the most relevant for most users:

    • Rio Job Type: Here, you can limit your search to either Archive or Restore. Leaving the drop-down blank searches both Archive and Restore.

    • Rio Job Status: Here, you can limit your search to either Pending, Completed, Error, or Never Archived. Leaving the drop-down blank searches all statuses.

    • Asset title: This is a free-text field that allows you to enter either all or part of an item's title.

    • Parent path: This field allows you to limit your search to a specific path in Nuxeo. Begin by typing the path name, and then select the specific path you want to search.

The remaining fields are used primarily for development purposes.
